You know your audience better than anyone, and your initiative can make a direct impact on the lives of those affected by bullying and cyber bullying.
Get creative with the way that you can fundraise for Dolly’s Dream, including holding a blue cupcake stall, asking friends to donate to Dolly’s Dream instead of buying birthday gifts, organising a trivia night at your sports club, the list goes on!
COVID-19 didn’t stop Grace Belton from fundraising for Dolly’s Dream, instead she set up the Covid-Neighteen Online Horse Show!
“I am a mum, a partner, a horse lover, a horse breeder and I too am a victim of bullying. I was talking to a friend of mine about Covid-19 and what’s been happening in this pandemic, school, the kids, life, horses I said, hey why don't we run an online show? Let's pick up the mood a little! Let's have some fun! If we can change at least a few people's view on bullying and online bullying, we are changing the world.”
Covid-Neighteen was a huge success, with hundreds of entrants all over Australia, and Grace raised $3,500 for Dolly’s Dream!
